Located within the scenic bushland of Mount Victoria within the world renowned Blue Mountains of Australia, Vanam Retreat offers an exceptional eco sanctuary for guests enjoyment and relaxation.
Join Raewyn for a weekend of exceptional self care. We will explore movement practices (open to all levels including beginners) and breath work techniques to support you in finding balance as we emerge from the cocoon of winter.

As the days become shorter, the weather is cooler and the winds of Vata energy are beginning to stir. Find solace and nourishment in this Yin Masterclass with Raewyn Fernandez.
Whist we have already changed seasons, April is the month where we begin to really feel the effects of the seasonal shift. This Yin immersion will support you in turning your focus inward and connecting to the deeper self.
This workshop is for you if you are:

- Wanting ro become more resilient to stress

This event is available both in-person at our Thirlmere studio or Online via Zoom.
It is open to all levels, including beginners.

School Yoga Program
Term 2 starts 19th of April 2021
Our Children's Yoga Program is an engaging way to introduce children to mindfulness and movement that can support them through their early years of education. Designed to be integrated into both NSW Primary School and Preschool programming, children are guided through a fun and interactive practice that is themed around stretching and movement, breath work and balance. Each week the children explore a yoga adventure that builds body awareness and confidence in an all inclusive environment.

Ground your child in mindfulness through the practice of Kids Yoga. These classes support children in building confidence and awareness in their bodies. Classes focus on breath work, movement and meditation. These classes are for EVERYBODY and foster an inclusive community. Fun and engaging, your child will leave with a sense of peace and presence.

VIN YIN Yoga

My Yoga Space, Thirlmere
Vin/Yin is a marriage of the strong, yang Vinyasa Yoga with the receptive Yin Yoga. Active, yet grounding sun salutations and standing flows are offered in the first half of class to enliven the body and chase away any fatigue.
The Yin half of class, on the other hand, offers passive, seated and supine poses that are held for anywhere from 2 – 7 minutes on each side. The Yin aspect helps to switch off fight-or-flight mode, promoting balance throughout the nervous system and allowing for a sense of peace and relaxation.
Open to all levels. Safe modifications for pregnant students also available.
