Sharing Yoga and Mindfulness with Children in Pre-school and School environments to foster a community of wellness, inclusivity and FUN!

Umama Kids Yoga

Our Children's Yoga Program is an engaging way to introduce children to mindfulness and movement that can support them through their early years of education. Designed to be integrated into both NSW Primary School and Preschool programming, children are guided through a fun and interactive practice that is themed around stretching and movement, breath work and balance. Each week the children explore a yoga adventure that builds body awareness and confidence in an all inclusive environment.

The health and wellbeing of children is a growing concern. Anxiety disorders seen in children are increasing and the experience of navigating Covid-19 has only put further pressures on our little people. This has highlighted an already growing problem that is being felt throughout households, classrooms and the world. Yoga, breath work and Meditation are the key to supporting children in managing their emotions and developing the tools to regulate their own nervous systems.

How does yoga benefit our children?
