Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing to work with Raewyn Fernandez.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services, workshops, teacher trainings, retreats, mentoring, website projects, products and events offered by Raewyn Fernandez. By making a booking, enrolling in a program, purchasing a product or engaging with any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Bookings & Payments

Full payment, or an agreed payment plan, is required to secure your booking unless otherwise stated.

A booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.

​

Payment plans are available on selected offerings. Failure to maintain scheduled payments may result in suspension or cancellation of your booking.

​

​

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Ayurvedic Consultations & Bodywork

Appointments may be rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice.

Cancellations or reschedule requests received within 24 hours of your appointment will result in the forfeiture of 100% of the appointment fee, as this time is unlikely to be filled at short notice.

Refunds are not provided for missed appointments, late cancellations or no-shows.

Workshops

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

Where written notice is received at least 72 hours prior to the workshop, Raewyn may, at her sole discretion, offer a transfer to another workshop or provide a credit where appropriate.

Credits are not guaranteed and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Teacher Trainings

All Teacher Training enrolments are non-refundable.

Significant planning, venue hire, resources and limited participant numbers mean your place is reserved exclusively for you.

Where sufficient notice is provided prior to the commencement of the training, Raewyn may, at her sole discretion, allow you to transfer your enrolment to a future intake where available.

Transfers are not guaranteed and may incur an administration fee or any difference in course fees.

Once training has commenced, missed sessions, withdrawals or non-attendance are not eligible for refunds or credits.​

Retreats & Courses

Retreats and courses are non-refundable.

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances including illness, injury, travel delays or family emergencies.

Where you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person. Any transfer of payment or arrangements between participants remains the responsibility of those individuals.

For payment plans, all monies paid remain non-refundable should you choose to withdraw.​

Business Coaching & Mentoring

Coaching sessions are non-refundable.

Sessions may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or missed without notice will be forfeited.

Abhanga Training

Due to the intimate nature of this training, the limited number of places available and the preparation undertaken for each participant, all course payments are non-refundable. Your enrolment is a commitment to pay the full course fee. If you have selected a payment plan and later decide not to attend, any outstanding instalments will remain payable.

In genuine extenuating circumstances, such as serious illness, injury, bereavement or another significant event outside your reasonable control, Raewyn may, at her discretion, allow your enrolment to be transferred to a future offering of the same or a substantially similar training.

Requests for a transfer must be made in writing as soon as reasonably possible. Supporting information may be requested where appropriate. Approval of a transfer is not automatic and will be considered individually.

​

Failure to attend, withdrawal after the training has commenced, or inability to complete the course requirements will not ordinarily entitle the participant to a refund or transfer. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Products & Gift Vouchers

Products

Products are non-refundable for change of mind.

Refunds or exchanges will only be offered where required under Australian Consumer Law.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers:

• are non-refundable

• cannot be exchanged for cash

• cannot be replaced if lost or stolen

• must be redeemed within their stated validity period.

​

​

Website Design Services

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work commences.

The remaining balance is payable before website launch or transfer.

Projects are expected to be completed within three months.

Delays in providing content, approvals or feedback may result in the project being paused or cancelled.

Should a project extend significantly due to client delays, a new quotation may be required to recommence work.

Cancellation by Raewyn Fernandez

In the unlikely event that a class, workshop, training, retreat or appointment must be cancelled due to illness, insufficient enrolments or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered either:

• a full refund; or

• a credit towards a future offering.

Reasonable notice will be provided wherever possible.

Health & Personal Responsibility

By attending any class, consultation, workshop, retreat or training, you acknowledge that:

• you participate voluntarily;

• you are responsible for informing Raewyn of any injuries, illnesses, pregnancy or medical conditions that may affect your participation;

• you agree to practise within your own physical limits;

• you understand that Ayurveda and yoga are complementary health practices and are not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If you have concerns regarding your health, please consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.

Privacy

Your privacy is important.

Personal information collected through bookings, enquiries, consultations or purchases is used solely for the delivery of services, communication and administration.

Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties unless required by law or necessary to provide a requested service.

By joining our mailing list, you consent to receiving occasional emails about classes, workshops, teacher trainings and offerings. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, workbooks, recordings, videos, written resources and website content remain the intellectual property of Raewyn Fernandez unless otherwise stated.

These materials are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, distributed, shared, copied or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The most current version published on this website applies at the time of booking.

Photography & Media

From time to time, photographs or short video recordings may be taken during workshops, trainings or retreats for educational and promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or recordings, please notify Raewyn before the event. Every reasonable effort will be made to respect your wishes.
