Retreat with Raewyn

There is a different quality of space that emerges when we step away from the rhythm of daily life. Not to escape it, but to see it more clearly. To soften the noise and return to something more honest within ourselves. This is the intention behind these retreats. They are not about doing more, but about remembering how to be.

These retreats are designed to move beyond surface-level wellness. Grounded in the principles of Ayurveda and yoga, they are offered as practical, lived systems that support real change in the body, the mind, and the way you move through your life. We work with the body, the nervous system, and the natural rhythms that govern digestion, rest, and restoration. You will be guided, not pushed, and supported without being overwhelmed. There is space here for you to meet yourself honestly, without performance.

Each retreat holds its own subtle theme, yet the foundation remains consistent. Daily embodied practice weaves together yin and gentle, intentional movement to regulate the nervous system and support deep rest. Alongside this, you will be introduced to simple Ayurvedic principles that can be integrated into everyday life, understanding your constitution, supporting digestive fire (agni), reducing what burdens the system (ama), and building vitality (ojas). These teachings are not presented as theory, but as tools you can return to long after the retreat has ended.

Retreat into Stillness

A strong emphasis is placed on nervous system restoration. The practices offered are designed to shift you out of survival mode and into a state where the body can repair, digest, and restore. Ritual and rhythm form an important part of this process, with gentle morning and evening practices that reconnect you to natural cycles, something often lost in modern living. Just as importantly, there is space for rest. Time that is not filled. Time to integrate, reflect, or simply be.

A day on retreat unfolds with a natural rhythm. Mornings begin slowly, often with something warm and grounding, followed by practice before the world fully arrives. Meals are nourishing and supportive of digestion and sustained energy. There is space to learn, without overwhelming the system, and afternoons open into rest, connection, or quiet reflection. Evenings are designed to soften the edges of the day, allowing the body to settle.

These retreats are for those who feel the pull to step out of the constant pace of life and into something more sustainable. You may be feeling depleted or burnt out, navigating a period of change, wanting to better understand your body and health, or simply craving space that feels genuine rather than performative. No prior experience with yoga or Ayurveda is required, only a willingness to be present.

The outcome of this work is often quieter than expected. Rather than dramatic transformation, what tends to emerge is clarity. A clearer understanding of your body and its needs. Tools that feel realistic to carry into daily life. A more regulated nervous system. A deeper sense of connection to yourself. And often, something harder to name, but unmistakable in how you feel.

Retreats are offered throughout the year and held in a variety of locations. If you feel drawn to this work, you are invited to register your interest to be the first to hear when new retreats are released.
