At Rae's Table
The Podcast
For centuries, tables have been places of storytelling, questioning, laughter, grief, philosophy, nourishment, and connection. AT Rae’s Table Podcast was born from that spirit, a space for honest conversations about yoga, Āyurveda, motherhood, healing, business, spirituality, creativity, and what it means to live authentically in a modern world.
This podcast isn’t about perfection or polished answers. It’s about exploring the layers beneath the surface. The subtle body. The nervous system. The seasons of life. The wisdom traditions that continue to shape us. The messy, beautiful reality of being human.
Pull up a chair. You’re always welcome at the table.
Ep. 5 Burnout, Boundaries and Becoming Yourself Again
With Guest Tara Bakic
In this deeply honest conversation, Raewyn sits down with Tara Bakic to explore the hidden cost of people pleasing, over-serving, and carrying the emotional weight of everyone around us.
Together, they unpack burnout, nervous system dysregulation, boundaries, identity, grief, and the shedding that often has to occur before we can return to ourselves.
Tara shares her story of growing up in survival mode, how childhood experiences shaped her drive to help others, and the moment she realised that constantly saying “yes” was slowly disconnecting her from herself, her health, and her family.
Ep. 4 A Life Rewritten Through Practice
With Guest Karl Palin
In this episode, Karl Palin joins me for a conversation that moves far beyond postures and into the real heart of practice. Karl shares his personal journey into yoga, from a high-pressure life in IT and endurance sport, through burnout and reckoning, to finally discovering a path that offered steadiness instead of adrenaline.
We explore what yoga is and what it absolutely is not, the moment he felt called to teach, and why mentoring teachers has become such a central part of his purpose. Karl speaks openly about listening to the body’s quiet warnings, the rituals that hold him, his own dinacharya, and what’s unfolding next for One Big Heart.
Ep. 3 Whispers Of The Body
With Guest Sinead Alyce
In this soul-rich conversation, Rae sits down with body-based therapist and Vedic science devotee Sinead Alyce to explore what it truly means to return to the body as sacred guide. Together they unravel how the body speaks through sensation, emotion, and intuition, and how listening can lead us home to ourselves.
From the quiet wisdom beneath burnout to the subtle language of cycles and stillness, this episode invites you to slow down, soften, and remember the intelligence that lives beneath thought.
Listen in for story medicine, gentle truth-telling, and the reminder that your body has never stopped whispering, only waiting for you to listen.
Ep. 2 The Love In Discipline
In this solo episode, I share how grief, burnout, and motherhood led me home to one of Ayurveda’s most nurturing principles, dinacharya, the art of daily rhythm.
What began as resistance to the word “discipline” became a revelation: that consistency, in its gentlest form, is love in motion.
Through story and reflection, I explore what Ayurveda truly means, where it comes from, and how the smallest rituals, warm water at dawn, oil on the skin, stillness before sleep, can rebuild vitality, calm the nervous system, and help us remember who we are beneath the noise.
Ep. 1 Welcome To The Table
In this very first episode, I share the heart behind At Rae’s Table, how my journey through postnatal depression, burnout, and disconnection led me to the ancient healing systems of yoga and Ayurveda.
I open up about becoming a full-time mum, the unexpected health challenges my daughter faced, and how these struggles became the catalyst for a deeply personal and powerful return to rhythm, ritual, and self.
This episode is an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and remember the wisdom that lives within you.
Pull up a chair, pour a warm cup of tea, and join me as we begin this journey together.
