Full Abhyanga + External Basti Ritual A deeply restorative Ayurvedic therapy designed to calm the nervous system, nourish the tissues, and balance the doshas. This treatment begins with a full-body Abhyanga, a rhythmic warm oil massage using medicated herbal oils selected for your constitution. The slow, synchronized strokes support lymphatic flow, release tension, and bring the mind into a meditative stillness. Following the Abhyanga, an External Basti, a localised oil therapy, is applied to the area most in need of nourishment or release (commonly the lower back, abdomen, knees, or heart space). A well made from dough is placed over the chosen area and filled with warm medicated oil, allowing the herbs to deeply penetrate and restore balance to the underlying tissues. This sacred combination of therapies works to soothe Vata, relieve muscular and joint tension, nourish the nervous system, and support hormonal and digestive balance.
