Service Description
Shirodhara is one of Ayurveda's most deeply restorative therapies. During this treatment, a continuous stream of warm herbal oil is gently poured across the forehead, encouraging the nervous system to soften and the mind to settle into profound stillness. Traditionally used to support stress, overwhelm, anxious thoughts, fatigue and disturbed sleep, Shirodhara offers an opportunity to slow down completely and reconnect with a sense of calm. Many clients describe the experience as deeply meditative, leaving them feeling grounded, clear and deeply rested. Each session is thoughtfully prepared using high-quality oils and is delivered with the same gentle, personalised approach that underpins every Hounsom bodywork ritual.
Cancellation Policy
Bodywork Policy Thank you for choosing to receive Ayurvedic bodywork. Each treatment is thoughtfully prepared and tailored to support your individual needs. Full payment, or any required deposit, is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. As dedicated time has been reserved especially for you, a minimum of 42 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Cancellations made within 42 hours, or missed appointments, may incur the full treatment fee. Ayurvedic bodywork is designed to support health and wellbeing and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Please advise me prior to your appointment if you are pregnant, have any injuries, allergies, medical conditions or are taking medication that may affect your treatment. Some therapies may not be suitable in certain circumstances and may be modified or postponed for your safety.
